What is the purpose of a motion capture suit?

Inertial motion capture uses sensors to record the motion of your body parts. There are two important factors when it comes to the sensors:

  1. They need to be in the exact spot
    The placement of the sensor is very important to get precise data. Sensors are placed on strategic points to get the best data and so they don’t move too much.

  2. They need to stay fixed to the spot
    Once the sensors are placed, it is important that they do not move or get displaced. When this happens, you can get incorrect data and it is best to recalibrate in such situations.
