About
The MTi-200 is a high-performing Vertical Reference Unit (VRU). Its sensors and sensor fusion algorithm measure roll, pitch, and (unreferenced) yaw. The superior, vibration-rejecting gyroscopes – part of the entire MTi 100-series – guarantee high-quality acceleration, and orientation data, even in challenging environments. The MTi-200 is ruggedly built, with a protective, anodized, IP67 waterproof aluminum housing, waterproof connectors, and special studs for easy mounting and aligning. This all-in-one VRU supports optimized temperature calibration and high-frequency orientation output, while offering configurable output settings for synchronization with any third-party device. Like the other modules in this series, you can recognize the MTi-200 by its dark-grey/black base plate and the small barometer holes on one side of the casing. The MTi-200 also comes with Active Heading Stabilization (AHS), which further improves the accuracy of heading tracking.
