Development kit

MTi Development KitMT Development Kit

First-time users are advised to start with the MT Development Kit. The Development Kit contains an MTi-100 IMU, MTi-200 VRU or MTi-300 AHRS and a USB cable, all in a robust suitcase. The MT Software Suite can be downloaded here, which allows prospective users to already start development.

The MT Software Suite gives easy access to Xsens’ products, allowing users to configure and easily integrate the MTi 100-series Motion Trackers in their own applications. The suite contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation.

The MT Software Suite gives easy access to Xsens’ products, allowing users to configure and easily integrate the MTi Motion Trackers in their own applications. The suite contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation.

Although it is easy to set up the MTi via the low-level XBus protocol, communication is made easy with the Xsens Device API (XDA) which is completely in C-code. The MT SDK includes the following development tools:

  • C++ wrapper
  • Examples for C, C++ and Matlab.
  • Supported operating systems: Windows and Linux.
  • DLL for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
  • Extensive documentation on the MTi, the XBus protocol and the SDK (PDF and HTML)
