The MTi-G is a GPS aided MEMS-based Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) and static pressure sensor. It delivers unprecedented performance for its size, weight, cost and low complexity of use.

EOL notice


Important: End-of-Life. The MTi is Xsens 3rd generation product. On August 31st, 2013, Xsens has issued an End-of-Life notice for the 3rd generation MTi products. Details on the EOL can be found in the End of Life Notice MTi 3rd generation (PDF). Please refer to the new MTi 10-series and MTi 100-series for the 4th generation MTi.

Development kit

First-time users are advised to start with the MT Development Kit. The Development Kit contains an MTi, a USB cable, a suitcase and the MT Software Suite on a USB flash drive.

MT Software Suite


The MT Software Suite gives easy access to Xsens’ products, allowing users to configure and easily integrate the MTi in their own applications. The suite contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation.
