Xsens is excited to participate in the First Autonomous Vehicle Track Day, a high performance testing weekend for groups interested in autonomous vehicles and related technologies on May 28th and 29th at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, California.
Angel investor and Silicon Valley entrepreneur Joshua Schachter recently announced plans to start hisown autonomous racing series. The idea has also drawn a fair amount of interest from both Silicon Valley and companies that are working on autonomous tech. With our firm track record in the autonomous driving community, Xsens will bring our MTi technology to the track. It gives us the opportunity to test the MTi motion trackers’ capabilities to the limit. Our autonomous vehicle partner in the US, Autonomous Stuff, will also be joining with their Custom Vehicle Kits that include MTi trackers.
There are currently 16 different companies and groups, including the Renovo Delorean, on the entry list and some of them are already gearing up for the event:
