Three years ago, one of our colleagues went to the doctors to check out a mole on his back. It turned out to be hostile cancer. His life was turned up-side-down for many months to come. After surgery and several treatments of radiation, chemo and immune therapy afterwards they could give him the ‘clean’ sign and he has been clean since.

To pay tribute to all the people going through similar experiences we joined him in the Ride for the Roses, a unique bike ride through Twente to support the battle against cancer. Together with 7000 other riders they collected a staggering amount of € 585.000 for the KWF, the Dutch Cancer Society.
