MTi-2 VRU


About

The MTi-is a self-contained Vertical Reference Unit (VRU). Its sensors provide calibrated inertial data on the 3D rate of turn, 3D acceleration and 3D magnetic field, while an added sensor fusion algorithm computes 3D orientation data on the basis of a gravity-reference frame: drift-free roll, pitch, and accurate, unreferenced yaw.  

As a member of the MTi 1-series, the MTi-2 stands out for its small form factor (12.1mm x 12.1mm), easy integration, low cost and robustness – as well as its strapdown integration algorithmSuitable for a wide range of (embedded) applications, the MTi-2 relieves you of the effort of integrating and maintaining gyroscopes, accelerometers and other sensors as well as of having to design an all-in-one VRU solution.

MTi-2 Software

You can manage your MTi-2 with the MT Software Suite, which contains aeasy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems. Many other useful tools are also includedsuch as: 

  • MT Manager (GUI) 
  • MT SDK, including programming examples for C, C++, C#, MATLAB, Python, ROS and Nucleo boards 
  • Magnetic Field Mapper (MFM) calibration tool, as GUI and SDK
