On September, 27 mCube, parent company of Xsens announced its rebrand as Movella. We've put together some frequently asked questions (FAQ) to give you more information.

What does the announcement of Movella mean to me?

The new brand encapsulates the value and technologies from mCube, Xsens, and Kinduct. The continued integration has enabled the combined companies to create a full-stack total solution across hardware, software, and data analytics. Movella is focused on a bold vision and dedicated to providing actionable insights for customers and partners to create extraordinary outcomes that move humanity forward.


How does this announcement impact my relationship with Xsens, Kinduct, or mCube?

Our relationships remain unchanged. There is no change in the people you deal with. The solutions you are currently using are not changing their names, nor is there any need for changes in contracts or purchase orders. Any future changes in the products represent our normal, well-established process of continually updating and improving our offerings, based on what we’ve learned working closely with you.


Do I continue working with my current company contacts for support and product sales?

Yes. There is no change in how we support you. The only change that you might notice is that we switched our email accounts from @xsens.com, @kinduct.com and @mcubemems.com to @movella.com to acknowledge our continued integration.


What will happen to mCube?

The name of mCube, will be changed to Movella. Starting from Sept 27, 2021, the mCube brand will no longer be used for marketing purposes and will be retired over time. Over the course of the next year, we’ll be transitioning our remaining legal entity names to Movella.


What will happen to Xsens?

We will continue to utilize the Xsens brand for our products and technologies.
For example: Movella’s Xsens mocap technology, Xsens MTi by Movella, etc. Our goal is to show unity across all brands.

There is no change to either the current product offering or the people with whom you do business.


What will happen to Kinduct?

We will continue to utilize the Kinduct brand to promote our products and technologies. For example: Movella’s Kinduct human performance platform, Kinduct Lite by Movella, etc. Our goal is to show unity across all brands.
