Amarcon sells OCTOPUS products to leading shipping company

Offshore company Amarcon from Dalfsen, the Netherlands has equipped three multipurpose heavy lift vessels from Harren & Partner / Offshore Installation Group (OIG Giant I (former Blue Giant), the OIG Giant II (former Combidock IV) and the new build OIG Giant III) with the OCTOPUS-Onboard system. Also, they equipped the vessels with the OCTOPUS-TMS system, that uses 3 Xsens’ motion sensors (MTi) to determine the motions, accelerations and velocities of the ship.
