Xsens explores the world modeling
|
| A delegation of the Xsens research team went to Linköping University to take part in the learning world models workshop organized by Thomas Schön and Giorgio Grisetti. This workshop, sponsored by Cadics and Xsens set the stage for a two day period of generating and discussion of new idea's related to identification and modeling. Xsens' interest for the workshop was driven in part by the idea of applying large state system identification as used in the mobile robot navigation community (e.g. SLAM) to inertial sensor tracking problems. An example in which this is applied successfully is this publication of Slawomir Grzonka (finalist best student paper award/ finalist best paper award in cognitive robotics). |
