Research paper about how Xsens products can help first responders

Technical support for first responders, who have to explore hazardous environments to locate and rescue victims and thereby avoiding dangerous areas, has recently gained a substantial interest in the research community.

In his thesis "Mapping, State Estimation, and Navigation for Quadrotors and Human-Worn Sensor Systems", long time friend and partner of Xsens, Slawomir Grzonka investigates the use of the Xsens MTi tracker for an autonomously flying robot and the Xsens MVN suit for mapping the environment.
