Xsens MVN for advertising

Recently two amazing commercials have been released. One for Vestel, one of Turkey’s largest home and professional appliances manufacturing companies and one for Coca Cola's Powerade. Both commercials were created using Xsens MVN for the motion capture and animations.

Vestel
The Xsens MVN system is a flexible system that can be used at every location. The Vestel commercial was done by Saatchi & Saatchi, Depofilm and Unexpected. Unexpected used the Xsens MVN suit on a ship in the middle of the ocean. All the Vestel robots were animated using the Xsens MVN system. During the shoot they realized they needed an overwhelming extra shot. “So we jumped in the suit and recorded 22 moves in 28 minutes for this extra scene. We would not have been able to do that without Xsens MVN”, says Alexander Kiesl, CEO at Unexpected.

Powerade
Coca Cola's Powerade commercial was produced in a collaboration between Magoo an PSYOP. The commercial was shot in an indoor soccer stadium in Söderhamn, Sweden with two soccer players. The soccer players played in the Xsens MVN suit. "We got in contact with Xsens because we had heard good things about their mocap suit. They helped us get into their software and after we got our hands on a Xsens MVN suit we simply contacted a local soccer team SFF for talent!", says Magoo.
