Tips & Tricks: You can change between different scenarios to preview a recorded file

MVN Studio records the raw data from the motion trackers (MTs for short). Applying this motion capture data on the biomechanical model is always done at the time of playback, just like with a live Xsens MVN system. This gives the user the option to preview the recorded data in different scenarios. Here is a short example:

  • Open any MVN file
  • Go to the “Data fusion” tab

  • From the “Scenario” drop-down menu choose “Pelvis Fixed”

  • Hit the “Reprocess” button (CTRL+SHIFT+P) and wait for the software to re-process the file
