Marine

Xsens MT's are used for control, stabilization and analysis purposes. The highly accurate data output of the MTi has proved to be of value for e.g. AUV's/ROV's, echo sounders, sonar systems and USBL systems. The MTi can be mounted inside the submersible vehicle or on surface vessels.

Surface marine applications benefit from the orientation, acceleration, rate of turn and magnetic field output by the MTi. The MTi-G provides additional output, including position, velocity and course over ground, making the MTi-G ideal for performance yachting and fast boats, where the MTi is perfectly suited for buoys and e.g. survey vessels.

The MTi and MTi-G are delivered with easy-to-use software, as well as source code for various platforms. A calibration tool for hard and soft iron effects is also included. Xsens supplies the MTi and MTi-G in various interfaces and ranges, such as RS422/485 and 150 deg/s gyroscopes.
