MTi OEM
The MTi OEM is a board-only version of the MTi, available for seamless and tight integration in your application. The housing-less MTi OEM is an exceptionally small and ultra-light (11 gram) Attitude and Heading Reference System with the same functionality as the regular MTi.

Related Xsens ProductsMTiThe MTi is a miniature size and low weight 3 DOF Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). The MTi contains accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers in 3D, available within several performance ranges. Its internal low-power signal processor provides drift-free 3D orientation as well as calibrated 3D acceleration, 3D rate of turn and 3D earth-magnetic field data. The MTi is an excellent measurement unit for stabilization and control of cameras, robots, vehicles and other (un)manned equipment. The sophisticated Xsens sensor fusion algorithm can e.g. cope with temporary magnetic disturbances, resulting in a reliable orientation estimate. Additionally, the MTi incorporates a magnetic field mapping routine to correct for hard and soft iron effects that can affect the heading performance. MTi Highlights
MTi-GThe MTi-G is a miniature size and low weight 6 DOF Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). The MTi-G contains 3D accelerometers, 3D gyroscopes, 3D magnetometers, an integrated GPS receiver, a static pressure sensor and temperature sensor. The inertial sensors are available within several performance ranges. Its internal low-power signal processor provides drift-free 3D orientation as well as calibrated 3D acceleration, 3D rate of turn, 3D earth-magnetic field, 3D position and 3D velocity data. The MTi-G is an excellent measurement unit for stabilization and control of air and ground objects, especially when (long lasting) accelerations are involved. The MTi-G is designed for reliable orientation output within applications facing long-lasting accelerations, a typical error source for any AHRS using the gravity as its reference estimating roll and pitch. The loose coupling works both sides: double-integrating the accelerometers for short periods, the MTi-G is able to calculate position and velocity even during short GPS outages. There are several more corrections realized to aid the IMU functionality and to enhance the GPS measurements. MTi-G Highlights

MTi Development KitFirst-time users are advised to start with the MT Development Kit. The Development Kit contains an MTi or MTx, USB cabling, a suitcase and the software development kit.Â
More information on the MT Software Development Kit can be found below: MT Software Development KitThe MT Software Development Kit gives easy access to Xsens’ products, allowing users to confgure and easily integrate the MTx, MTi and MTi-G Motion Trackers in their own applications. The kit contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation. The MT Software Development Kit contains:
MT ManagerThe MT Manager is Windows application for easy access to the full capabilities of Xsens’ Motion Trackers. It is the tool for getting acquainted with, confguring and analyzing the Motion Trackers. The MT Manager is also capable of recording and playback MT data.
MT Development ToolsThe Xsens Communication MT (CMT) API will help save time in interfacing in a reliable way with Xsens Motion Trackers in a Windows environment. Direct interfacing gives full control and maximum fexibility. The example code (C/C++, Excel (VBA) and Matlab) can be easily extended to a user-specifc program. The C++ class and direct low level (binary) communication allows for reliable interfacing with Xsens Motion Trackers in any (RT)OS environment. The C++ class and direct low level (binary) communication is open source and can be used when hard real-time performance is required. The example code for Linux and Windows can be easily extended to a user-specifc program. |
