Installation of MVN Studio

Xsens' MVN Studio is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

For installation under Windows XP, make sure that you are logged in as an administrator or power user. Then run the installer. If you have installed the latest security updates for Windows XP, please follow the instructions for Windows Vista.

For installation under Windows Vista or Windows 7, being logged in as a user of the administrator group is not sufficient. Start the installation by right-clicking on the installer and selecting 'Run as administrator'.

After installation, run the Software Activation tool to register your license.

Xsens (strongly) recommends using an "always on" power scheme when using Windows Vista or Windows 7. Both operating systems implement powersaving features that may affect the performance of the viewports in MVN Studio as well as operation of the WR-As, which are powered by the USB ports. Some of these power saving features may be active in the default power scheme.
