MT Manager does not detect the motion tracker.

Answer

If the communication with the motion tracker is lost and it is no longer detected by the MT Manager, perform the Restore Communication procedure. The procedure can be started through the MT manager Tools menu. Follow the instructions closely.

If this does not recover communication with the device, run the firmware updater and try to reinstall the firmware. Always make sure to use the latest version of MT SDK if you update the firmware of the device. Compare your release number with the release in our download section.

You may also want to verify if the USB converter cable is properly detected by the operating system. In the Windows Device Manager, both an 'Xsens USB-serial converter' under USB controllers and an 'Xsens Virtual COM port' under 'ports COM & LPT' should be detected. If that is not the case, verify that the following drivers are installed in the Add or Remove Programs wizard:
Windows Driver Package - Xsens USB-serial Converter Driver Package (2.04.16) and
Windows Driver Package - Xsens Virtual COM port Driver Package (2.04.16).
