Answer
In case of a MVN or Xbus System, make sure that you power the Xbus Masters with the mains adapters and connect the Xbus Masters to the computer with the USB cables. Please download and install the latest version of the MT SDK, which includes the related firmware for all Xsens devices. Note that the motion tracker does not need to be detectable by the MT Manager or MVN Studio for the firmware update to be successful. Refer to the Firmware Updater Documentation for more detailed instructions for the update, which you will find in the Windows Start Menu . The latest software with current firmware updater can be downloaded here.
In case of standalone devices (MTi, MTi-G and MTx), open the MT Manager and run the Firmware Updater. Select the hardware you need to update and follow the instructions. Also refer to the Firmware Updater User Manual, which you will find in the Windows Start Menu . The MT SDK can be downoaded here.
If the problems updating the firmware of your system persist, please contact us through the support contact form here. Please open the log file 'support_output.log' the firmware updater created and copy the summary into the contact form. This file will be located in the Windows 'Temp' directory, which you can access by either typing '%Temp%' in the Windows Explorer or by navigating to <C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Local Settings\Temp\>, where you need to fill in you local user name for [User Name].
