Why is my Motion Tracker not recognized by MT Manager?

The MT SDK contains a driver for the USB to serial converter. It will be installed once you install the MT SDK. If your Motion Tracker is not recognized by MT Manager and a restore communication does not work there could be a problem with the driver.

How do I know if the driver has been installed correctly?

Go to Control Panel and select system –> device manager

Under the tab Universal Serial Bus Controllers the Xsens USB-serial Converter should be listed. If it is not, the driver has not been installed correctly.

Why is the integrated driver not working?

This is a Windows related problem. In some cases the integrated driver will not be installed correctly by Windows and you will not be able to connect to the Motion Tracker.
